This in-person interactive workshop prepares you to connect with non-academic organisations. Learn how to identify areas for collaboration, craft compelling narratives with clarity and start to build your toolkit to effective jargon-free communication for networking beyond academia. During the workshop you will actively engage in practical activities designed to help you identify, develop and deliver messages tailored for non-academic audiences.
This networking mini-series comprises two workshops and an optional one-to-one follow-up session.
Jargon-free communications for networking beyond academia will run on the 19th of June in the morning. The konfer collaboration clinic will run on the same day in the afternoon. The two should be attended consecutively and the registration form is for both events.
The networking mini-series is being piloted as part of the DBAA research project. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to sign a research consent form, and complete evaluation questionnaires before and after the sessions. The results will contribute to the project evidence base and will help to refine future iterations of the sessions.
