Low Carbon Agriculture has joined forces with CropTech and LAMMA to showcase the future of farming at the Birmingham NEC.   

This powerful combination attracts more than 45,000 people to explore the latest advances in farming, carbon-reducing innovations, the role of AI and robotics, gene-editing for crops, controlled environment agriculture and much more.   

The DBAA exhibition experience is suitable for PhD or early-career researchers. No prior industry or networking experience is required.

What to expect 

Successful participants will have the opportunity to explore the conference and exhibition as well as highlight their own research on our stand.  

Participation is free, travel costs to the venue and subsistence will be covered in line with the University of Exeter expenses policy.   

Places are limited and will be assigned according to areas of research and expressions of interest. 

An online workshop on bridging research and industry cultures will be offered to all researchers prior to the event. This will develop skills in identifying areas for collaboration, crafting compelling narratives with clarity and will start to build a toolkit towards transforming research into action with non-academic partners.   

This event is being piloted as part of the DBAA research project. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to read the participant information sheet, sign a research consent form, and complete evaluation questionnaires before and after the sessions.
