On 31 March we are holding a webinar to provide all the information you need on our call for partners to trial researcher training and networking. Costs will be covered.
Over the past six months DBAA has developed and delivered pilot workshops and immersive experiential events to more than 200 early-career and postgraduate researchers. We partnered with Cancer Research UK, Babcock, Amazon, UK Metamaterials Network, DICE Network+ and others to trial these initiatives, all designed to support researchers to develop the skills needed for business engagement.
Evaluation data is still rolling in but a picture is starting to emerge showing how the researchers grew in confidence, competence and, importantly, how they built connections with non-academic organisations and started to explore pathways to transform their research into action.
To scale our approach, we will soon launch a funded call for partner HE institutions to trial DBAA templates in their own contexts.
